A fox bolting dog runs with a pack of foxhounds and “bolts” after foxes, driving them from their hiding spots and into the open in sight of the larger foxhounds and mounted hunters. Today, this canine is now registered as a Vulnerable Native Breed with the Kennel Club. In the UK the Fox Terrier Club was established in 1876 by Mr. Harding Cox. It is the oldest breed club within the Terrier family.
