WebbThere’s a dragon encounter that happens when that dome thing is hit by a shout. OP doesn’t have a shout available because they haven’t completed Dragon Rising and gotten their first dragon soul. Higher level Draugr can shout though. Which is what OP is using to their advantage to get a dragon soul without doing that quest. WebbYou should see (#) Dragon Souls. Save to a new save file (not quick-save) Close and reopen Skyrim, load the new save. Go to the bottom Greyed-Shout in the list and attempt to unlock it. But even with this mask plus amulet of talos, bless from talos and dragon aspect I get 80% reduction. These are all I can think of. Otherwise, Dragonrend or fire breath are the only other shouts I use all that much. I prefer Fire Breath. Unrelenting Force is the poster shout of Skyrim, but its not a wise option if you don't know if they'll die or not.
