Webb8 mars 2013 · In Gulf war 1 the only pods the F3 carried were Phimat chaff pods - these went under the inner wing pylon or replaced a sidewinder. After Gulf war 1 the F3 adopted the towed decoy on the outer wing pylons - balanced with a Phimat on the opposite wing. Webb7 sep. 2008 · IMO the most realistic one so far is that it is a Phimat chaff pod. Obviously modified from the standard pod (which would be too long to fit under the fuselage), but certain features look the same - the warning triangles, the shape of the rear of the pod, the strake on the top for attaching to the pylon and the thin strakes along the side.
