WebSince 1994, the Family Preservation Program has helped to keep families together and to keep children out of foster care. FPP provides intensive, in-home services for families with children between the ages of 0 and 12 who are at very high risk of out of home placement. Families are seen daily for the first 14 days of the eight-week program. WebCYFN Family Preservation Services will be hosting a community engagement event “Birth is Ceremony: Remembering and Reclaiming Yukon First Nations Birthing Practices”. It will be held on March 6-7 at the Nàkwät’à Kų̀ Potlatch House in Kwanlin Dun. This event will include presentations, sharing circles, and ceremony.
